I reread Homer‘s magnificent Odyssey in 2023. My first encounter with it was through an abridged version for children with fine drawings, then as a teenager I read Sveinbjörn Egilsson‘s great Icelandic translation and later several books in the ancient Greek original. I adore The Odyssey.
